I got defeated by the Slime Queen. The succubus missed with devil's kiss twice before she got it on target. And while she was building up her rage the queen kept summoning more slimes. It was such a bad defeat that I'm not sure I want to keep playing. Maybe my Celeste's fate really is to be a slime breeder.

I also had problems with this fight because I barely did any grinding and was level 2 or 3. You should at least be level 5 to beat her. It's a good idea to ignore Gaia's admonishments and clean up all the bandits. Even Borin Wood is easier than the queen.

I loaded now to check and my chars were at level 5. I'll level up once-twice and try again, eventually.

She's absolutely beatable at level 5. If devil's kiss misses - you should probably just reload.

The queen shouldn't be that difficult, but I have noticed that sometimes the 3% miss chance feels like way more than that. If I ever get back to gamedev, I'm just getting rid of RNG as much as possible alltogether.

I got past the slime queen and no boss since has been a problem. I just had really bad luck that one time.
