(One sad part tho is that I can’t seem to save my progress. Like, I’ll leave the game after saving, but then after some time when I come back, I’m back to the “run game” page. And then I have to replay it all over again to get back to where I was before ;-;)

Hey! I'm so sorry this is happening to you; I know it can be extremely frustrating. I've tried troubleshooting people's browsers multiple times but aside from not clearing your cache and cookies, it can be hard to find a permanent solution.
If you're able to play on desktop instead, I'd recommend downloading the game from the host website. In my experience, this method guarantees the highest chances of saving your game.
