I love brainstorming ideas.
Maybe some informative things to tell the player why she is packing up and why she needs her friend's help doing so (for physical and/or emotional support)?
- Is she traveling to a different city/country? World map, globe, bus/plane tickets, travel essentials like toothbrush, passport, camera (her old photo albums), laundry...
- Is she graduating? Alarm clock, textbooks, graduation cap, letter of acceptance, school badge, reading glasses, favorite coffee mug for long study nights...
- Is she tired of city living and seeking new life as a cottage farmer? Folders of bills, potted plants on her window sill (the seeds that made her go for her dream), tiny gardening tools on the wall...
- Or is she just decluttering to redecorate? Plushies on the bed, sports equipment under the bed, friendship gifts between player and her (souvenir magnets)...
