Apologies, I'm still having difficulty figuring out the topdown animations.

It is taking longer than I can confidently estimate time for so I would recommend hiring a talented or professional artist for speed.

In any case, I've added a small test spritesheet of what I have so far for download.

Great choice, the German Shepherd shall lead the way for this next pack update.

Thanks for appreciating the effort I've put into the art style.

A single dog might take a month to paint and be fixed for errors. Let me know if you'd like any specific dog to be done first.

I've been thinking about adding up down for the basic movements. I can work on it this month if you need it soon.

Indeed, the earlier animated frames do need some fixing up for the next update, especially for the walk and run cycles.  Thanks for the useful feedback.

I would love to see your open-sourced idea come to life on desktops, but it wouldn't be fair to other developers who have already purchased this asset to find that everyone can download it from everywhere all of a sudden.

If you would like, I can offer to collaborate with you for free to create a new dog design to be open-sourced by emailing me sketches or image references of how you might want your dog to look and behave like.

Hi Gatoviejo, yes all the dogs are animated in sideview.

Both dogs done! You can re-download the SpriteSheets now. The Pixel Retriever and Greyhound now come with jump animations.

Greatly appreciate your love for all these doggos, esp for the lonely Greyhound.

Hope to see your works in the future too.

Adding a Jump animation has definitely been on my mind.

I'll start working on it and update this SpriteSheet in the next 3 days.

Thanks for supporting my little dog animation.

The pixel German Shepherd stands at 31 x 23 pixels.

When it moves, it takes a maximum range of 37 x 25 pixels.
