Alright, time to give my review for patch 0.2, since this time I actually made the effort to take notes while playing. Before I say anything, let me preface this by saying that this was an excellent update and I thoroughly enjoyed the new content.
The multiple player sprites are a great idea, as they provide the player with some customization. I especially enjoyed the 'Looksmaxxer', as that one felt like a 'futa mode lite', which I always kinda wanted.
The game now acknowledging the player's size more often feels very immersive and allows for further customization of the experience, although some of the older scenes need some remastering to bring them to the same standard (Training with Mia or the first encounter with Kris for example).
Although I preferred the slightly more cartoonish look of the previous patch, the new sprites still look good and follow a pretty cohesive style. The two negative exceptions for me were Sarah, who now looks more like Ava's mother than Mia's and Jessica, who looks a bit older than she is supposed to be.
I also love that a lot of scenes received some animation, making them feel more alive and providing some visual stimuli while reading. This works especially for the Mia workout scenes, as they can often feel quite lengthy.
Speaking of, Mia's workouts and working out in general feel a lot better now. You really found a sweetspot for the amount of grind one needs to put in. Between the effectiveness for coffee and being able to spar with Mia, getting to max size has been very comfortable.
The addition of Kris is a very welcome one, especially because her story is so sweet and wholesome, delivering a stark contrast to the otherwise rough world. I would love some more scenes with her in the future, perhaps with her apartment as a new hub of sorts.
The crafting system, I feel, is not where it's supposed to be. Most often, it simply doesn't feel worth the effort, as similar items can simply be bought and gathering items (sticks in particular) is just too inconsistent. The huntress' story is sweet, but I could not finish her storyline due to a bug.
I like that Armwrestling is now more visually appealing and that the system is restored to how it was before (no more mashing). Combat is very doable on easy and does not distract too much from the overall flow of the game.
All in all, I thank you for the amazing release, you continue to be a true pillar of the genre. One can really feel your passion for the game, but I believe it's your clear communication and transparency that truly set you apart. Please keep up the fantastic work, I wish you nothing but the best!
(Also there will be some nitpicks and bug reports in the replies)
