It is interesting that so many games feature ducks, but the loading screen sets expectations much higher than the gameplay delivers, and that feels disappointing.

the loading screen? as in the main menu, or the thumbnail, or the renpy loading screen for when you start it up for the first time? i dont know what expectations were set, but it was pretty straight forward imo, how would u say that i fix that? sorry it was disappointing, i am working on my next gamejam to hopes that it will be way better :p
I meant the loading screen with the girl holding the Earth. When you see it, it creates a real “wow” effect and makes you expect that level of graphics in the game. The in-game visuals are not bad, but the contrast creates a bit of dissonance.
