Cool game <3

Here are some ideas for future gameplay, based on your previous comment about introducing enemies that chase the player's builders. The next phase of content varies depending on the chosen game genre:

  1. An Idle Gameplay: Implement AI to manage all production processes. The player's focus shifts entirely to cost-benefit decisions. For example, add more and more layers of resource types and processing stages until the player feels boring, then introduce a new mechanic.
  2. A Resource Management Experience: Slow down the game's pace and introduce more detailed player control. This heightened level of detailed operation creates a deeper sense of involvement and immersion, similar to open-world games like Minecraft. For example, enemies have unoptimized pathfinding and can be afflicted by debuffs like stun/weakness/blindness, as well as terrain obstacles and other layers that you want. This gives the player a chance to capitalize on these weaknesses by using items/terrain manipulation/magic or other layers to counter enemies effectively.

Well I'm not a game developer, so I have no idea what problem would arise during the game development. Good luck!

Thanks for the kind words and feedback!

That's not quite what I was talking about with my earlier comment.  However! I think I like what you're talking about here more. Adding in autonomous workers could be very interesting. I'll let it percolate and see what I can come up with.

Thanks again.
