110% agree. Honestly the whole thing kind of comes off as a slap in the face to those that supported. He's getting funded through Patreon and making a decent amount to continue independent development. If he isn't interested in keeping the game up to date simply out of burnout or disinterest, it would've been better if he had just been honest and said he would continue, but was taking a break to recover from said burnout. This whole 'no money' thing doesn't really have a leg to stand on. This all just doesn't add up, and feels like an excuse if I'm being honest... and I don't throw that word around often.
