WRT new update (specifically adventure mode): I think the problem with existing difficulties is that they punish noobs by depriving them of resources (health, minecoins, etc.), but if you're a really good player you'll accumulate an excess of resources with nothing to do with them. So the people who need them least are getting them the most and vice versa.

Casual mode seems to mitigate that by just removing the penalty for dying outright but that feels hacky. If you want to keep the arcadey feel of restarting the entire episode when you die then maybe checkpoints at certain milestones could work?

HELL NO, Do you know how many deaths stages 7 & 8 cause me in episodes 1 and 2? I prefer that casual mode stays as it is because I don't intend to repeat the entire episode from the start; it's hell. 

Another thing: I had defeated 9 in episode 2 and pressed save and exit, but instead of saving my progress after I defeated 9, THERE WAS NOTHING. It was a nightmare... 

can you unlock bosses in free play by beating them in casual mode?

Can you show me (if you have made it already) the designs you made for 18 and 19? (Although it's guaranteed not in the official game)
