it appears to be an issue that only happens in the browser version and only in some areas (like the Toxic Desert) and it actually breaks a lot more things than just placing blocks,
unfortunately I wont be able to fix it for a while as it might require some serious optimizations or even a separate cut down version for browser.
Until I'm able to figure it out some areas will be unplayable, I'm very sorry for this annoyance.
