Definitely a short but well thought out title. It's clear that it was made in a time crunch for a Game Jam. However, you can see that it had a clear scope and story / angle for the game. I just wish there were at least 3, maybe 4 enemies.

The pixel art is really good, but I found it to be oddly mismatched. It felt like the scenery and levels were more polished than the bosses. I'm unsure if it's because there's an asset pack being used (fine given it's for a Jam) or there was just a different artist / time spent on the level itself. The same polish on the bosses would be great.

All in all I enjoyed my play-through. It's short and sweet and the bosses are a little difficult out of the gate. However, when you know what's going on, it's quite straight forward.

Very spot-on analysis, i'm glad you found some enjoyment out of our game despite its shortcomings.

One of the requirements for the game-jam was to use at least one asset from Craftpix, so we decided to ease the load for our sole pixel artist.

I hope i'll be able to update the game after the voting period is over, so the game could realize more of its potential.
