I love the theming and the enemies and the music, but the performance is the biggest issue I run into. I mean this with love, but playing this game feels like one of those fever dreams where you play a bootleg mario that runs at 5 frames per second. I also ran into a few other bugs, like the spells not casting properly, but overall, it's solid. I like this game, it has an unexplainable charm to it.
you really shouldve limited how many spells you can collect. you want all at once? weve got it

Really impressive what you guys managed to make given the time constraints. The game is fun and looks great. There are a lot of enemies so performance can be a little questionable, and the rainbow wouldn't open all the way for me, but great job overall!
By tonight I will have rolled out a mega bugfix that squashes all the bugs :D

Love the concept, and the enemy ragdolling is very satisfying! It would be really great to see more spell interactions instead of just simultaneous casting.
