I made a game called PENDULUM and searched for it on Itch and found this gem. It is super hard and fair and I find that frustrating in a good way. If a game is hard and not fair, it is boring and if a game is fair and easy, it is not necessarily satisfying. I wish it was a bit less hard and had bonus levels that are at your preferred hardness levels. The normal gameplay, for instance getting the boots of wall jump, and then dying over and over again (and losing them), is a bit much. I love Megaman on the NES so I am OK with difficulty but here it is a few % more than I can stomach but yeah I had lot’s of fun and have a lot of respect for you making such a neat game!

It is solid! The game is badass. I just wish it was a little bit more forgiving (20% wider margin) so I would be able to explore it.

I will probably get back to it soon anyway.

Thanks for putting so much love into this free game.

Thank you so much for your feedback. I hope you give it a few more tries. I am planning to remake this game in a more modern engine and taking in consideration all the feedback I received regarding difficulty.

I think the current difficulty is excellent for hardcore mode. 10-20% wider margins for landing moves would be great for older normal people that love metroidvania and platforming challenges. It is really a masterpiece, how small, minimal and packed with challenges it is, that all feel different from one another. You have a wonderful mind.

Have a fruitful day!
