Ok. So first of all. I do actually really love the concept and art direction of this game as well as how the game feels to play, now to clarify I did not finish the Demo at the time of writing this cause the part where you get the double jump and have to run back as a storm chases you leads me to my main criticism.

This game is Hard. Now I read the description and I know I wasn't expecting it to be a cake walk but genuinely speaking the game feels like it expects WAY too much of you:

Platforms that move up and down? Yea Standard stuff

Spinning blades around said platforms? Yea sure I'm with ya there

Floating that zap and insta-kill you for standing on for... what feels like half second? Ok... sure this is fine

Moving up and down platforms underneath ice spikes that push you off upon being hit if you don't low dash out of jump quick enough while not jumping to high to hit said before spikes? Ok this is getting tricky... but I'm here for it, I was warned

The half a second insta-kill platforms with TWO spinning blades rotating around them at different speeds RIGHT BEFORE an easy boss? Ok that one was significantly more difficult and required way more attempts but I eventually did it and even got a reward for it, Oooo a double jump? So there's more demo? Ok cool I'm willing to try it-

Now do all of that again but in reverse while there is an ice storm rapidly chasing behind you: Nope, Nope, Nope I'm done.

I tried. Genuinely tried a solid 20 to 30 attempts maybe even more I lost count and I just did not feel any reason after that to try again because whatever was after if there was anything did not feel worthwhile enough to subject myself to more of this torture lol.

Now despite that I did still Really enjoy how it felt to move and jump around, the art style is charming/cute and I most def can't wait to see what kind of other content could be in the full game but this demo feels like it expects way too much out of you especially if this is supposed to be the first level so I'll def keep a watch on this game but not without saying it got my blood boiling and it was easier for me to just give up near the end rather then to continue on. Sorry for this being too wordy I usually don't leave reviews or comments in general but this game piqued my interest and I wanted it to be known while I felt the difficulty and structure of the level was demanding alot out of you I still and very curious and keen to see where the game goes from here and how development goes

so great job and keep up the good work!

Thank you for playing! and sorry it frustrated you. Thankfully, I managed to get a lot of feedback with this release, so by the next update it should be a little more manageable. That said, I won’t heavily compromise on the difficulty, but I’ll do my best to iron out anything unfair or inconvenient to minimize frustration. I think that if you managed to reach the avalanche section you definitely could’ve finished the demo. You should also consider that by that point you’d probably been playing for a while, since there’s currently no way to save, coming back to it later might make it feel easier.
