i figured out the problem, if the setting "rendering features quality" is turned to zero, the lights minigame wont show as red or green, they just show as blank. this is a pretty big oversight.
God.......I already deleted the save and started a new save thinking it was a bug I couldn't fix...
i hope you put all the thing/money into the mail box before doing that
