It's simply a way of dealing with people who lack critical thinking and need to be spoon fed every info instead of putting in at least some effort to read other comments or simply search for an answer to the problem at hand.

I might sound like an asshole, but go ahead and take a walk in my shoes - go through the comments and see what kind of questions people ask and how frequently they appear, ofc I'm here to assist but I'm not customer service, I also need to devote my time to go through the comments and reply to questions/problems and it is kinda annoying to be replying to the same question asked several times in a very short time span (as you saw, the same question has been posted literally a day earlier)
