Sorry, you were actually correct. Our X account got hacked. But I'm not a huge social media guy so I'm not as on top of that as I should be.
Account verification on X is somewhat stronger, yes, but Bluesky's intentionally decentralized model makes it inherently more secure than X's centralized model. You also have more direct control over your data and interactions. While you currently can't control who might randomly decide to follow you on Bluesky, you can block anyone following you with one click, and they will see none of your posts from that point. Cheers!
