The start of the game can be a bit rough... It takes a moment to get used to the movement and controls, but once you do, it becomes a lot more enjoyable. As already mentioned: A tutorial would be nice here. The collision with walls feels off...the character bounces backward in  a weird way, which breaks the flow of movement. Making the collisions smoother or less “bouncy” would really help the gameplay feel more natural. The visuals could definitely use some more attention, something others already stated as well. A few extra details, art work that fits together or lighting effects could make the environments more interesting. Adding proper sound effects would also make a huge difference, but I really like the music track. The idea of including minigames is great. Always feels like a tiny challenge that keeps things interesting. As for the theme, the Halloween and “uninvited guest” concept works, somehow, but the connection feels a little weak at times? But overall, this is a solid first jam entry!

Thx for the feedback! The game engine (scratch) made bugs hard to diagnose and harder to fix :(
