The Fallen Sorcerer immediately sets a tone of mystery. The world, where magic is a singular (or unique) ability, is instantly captivating. The central hook—a main character searching for their true identity and origins while being the only person with magical ability—is a strong draw. (A personal note: I liked that the MC seems to want a mother figure; I hope the story explores that ahem ahem need.) If the early narrative delivers on its promise, this could be a standout game for me, especially since I have never played a Visual Novel before.
