The easier method should be to download the CiC_0.55.5_Windows.zip option through the itch.io app (if you have it), and I believe you can then launch the game straight from the app. (Haven't done that in a while so I'm not 100% sure about it.)
The other way is to click on the CiC 0.55 Download Folder in the download options, it will then open up a folder with a bunch of options. Right click on "CiC_0.55.13_Windows" and select download->Standard download. Then you need to unzip the folder and go into the game, then double click game.exe to run.
