Hi, I’m making a top down battleship shooter for this game jam. I’m currently working alone and could collaborate with someone who’s interested in creating retro style music for a pixel art game. The game is being made in Unity, and since it’s still in early development, there are no existing audio systems. I’d be open to using FMOD if you’re interested in going that route!

I’ve always been interested to learn how to sync music better in boss combat. Similar to how Elden Ring Nightreign bosses execute their ultimate attacks synced to the soundtrack creating really cinematic experiences. I’d love to experiment with something like that during this jam.

I’ll be participating in the Unity Anniversary Game Jam tomorrow, which runs for two days, so I’ll jump back into this project after that. Let me know if you’re interested in making some military/navy/ocean themed retro action music.
