Honestly pretty entertaining, chaotic in the best possible way. On my first run, I had absolutely no idea what I was doing and just started spamming the invite button like my life depended on it. Suddenly, the place was packed, and I was surrounded by an absurd number of guests. They were definitely not amused... xD
Complete madness. But hey, the game didnât break, so props for that! It actually ran very smoothly despite the crowd of partygoers piling up. Once I understood what was going on, my second attempt felt much more intentional, ordering food and stuff, inviting guests, and keeping the party alive. The game play loop is surprisingly satisfying once it clicks. The mix between resource management and chaos control makes it fun to juggle everything. Visually, the game looks great. The art style has personality, and the blend of 2D and 3D elements works really nicely together. It gives the game a distinct look without feeling gimmicky. The controls are responsive and smooth, which helps a lot when things start to get hectic. Youâve nailed the overall presentation, especially considering the time constraints of a jam.
The music and sound effects fit perfectly too. Energetic, and full of that party vibe that makes the whole thing feel alive. You really do get that Halloween-party atmosphere, with just enough weirdness to make it fun rather than spooky. Those characters with the red outlines were meant to be the uninvited ones, but I wasnât totally sure at first. Maybe it has to be more obvious what they are doing. Fits the theme though! Overall, this is a really strong jam entry. Itâs stylish, runs smoothly, and has a satisfying rhythm once you figure it out. A bit more thematic clarity, bit polish on the UI stuff and youâve got something thatâs not just fun but cleverly layered too.
