A very short game, as already mentioned in your description, but quite a good one for a last second entry. It definitely fits the Halloween theme, though I couldn’t really find a strong connection to the “uninvited guest” part. The game play itself is straightforward: Finding the coins and figuring out what the owl says is easy... too easy xD Oh and: When restarting...actually nothing resets :b
The art is decent, but it doesn’t blend together perfectly. The mix of pixel art and non-pixel elements feels a bit inconsistent, and the UI could use some extra polish to match the overall look. It’s usually better to commit fully to one style... mixing them can work, but here it just didn’t quite land. Still, for a last second jam entry, this is a solid effort. Short, simple, and well executed within the time frame.
