The art style is great, although it might not all match perfectly, but it’s just so cute and funny that it doesn’t even matter. The contrast between the cute art and the eerie atmosphere actually works in the game’s favor. I actually laughed as soon as I started walking. The animation of the character’s movement and overall vibe are just delightful. That said, the walking speed feels a bit too slow, which makes the pacing drag at times... Combined with some empty hallways and sparse details, those moments can start to feel a little dull. Still, there are a few fun interactions scattered around that help break things up, so the slower pace doesn’t completely ruin the flow. A slight boost to movement speed or a bit more environmental variety could easily fix that. As already mentioned by others: Some things did not quite work... but hey, considering the given time this is just a minor. I really like how you implemented the monster! Overall, it’s a charming and funny little entry that fits both the Halloween spirit and the Uninvited Guest theme nicely. A bit more polish and detail, and it could become a very good game.
