I'd like to take this opportunity to share a few thoughts about the current situation. Personally, I haven’t released a game of my own yet, mainly due to limited experience in areas like animation, sound design, and dialogue. I joined this project—just like several others before it—to lend a hand and contribute where I could.
Working with Unreal Engine has been both a fascinating and, at times, a challenging experience. For now, I’ll be stepping back from this project, as I’m currently taking part in my very first game jam (wish me luck!). After that, I’ll likely return to working on a project with Team Quimbly.
That said, if anyone is interested in taking over tasks such as modeling, animation, or even cutscenes, we could definitely consider reviving the project at a later stage.
In any case, MaxHeight and I have both spent countless sleepless nights and weekends trying to bring you an improved and enjoyable gaming experience. Even though much of it remains in an experimental stage, we truly hope you’ll have fun exploring what we’ve created!
