TBH... I rated this game so highly. I wanted to love it.
No, I truly did. The graphics, ambience, the visual aesthetic, and overall tone... is beautiful. The character models, are beautiful.
BUT, after this update, I just cant. I cant. It is just too much.
The story is convoluted, and unclear, and just when something seems to be a little clear to me, it then seems silly or stupid. There is too much happening, no explanations that are CLEAR and concise, and it just takes away the game. This does not feel like a game. It feels like the MC is just there. He almost NO AGENCY, and everyone knows more, has more power, and can do more than he... which makes US, the PLAYER, wholly IMPOTENT for MOST of the game so far.
The characters, with perhaps the exception of Miriel and Flora... are ALL DETESTABLE SCUM, complete C*NTS, even the big red sword woman, who's name I do not even recall, because she is a C*NT. They are all such. Reprehensible, rude, arrogant, scum, that are about as endearing as SYPHILIS.
The only redeeming feature of this game, aside from the pretty dressing... might be the Adult content. Except it is NOT.
There is F*CK ALL adult content for a game like this. Even with what has already dropped, not considering what is yet to come and early in story we are. There's one abortive fellatio scene, one abortive cunnilingus scene, one short desperate gym quickie scene.. and only one complete scene. But that scene is with Lora, the stupid worthless b*tch who could not walk away, but had to go and get herself Isekai'd to Space Elf land, and in the process got her son killed, and left the MC a broken man.
She is the most despicable POS of all in this so far it seems. And we are meant to be doing all this FOR HER? Bwhahahahahahahahahah PLEASE! This SIMP MC is the most whipped douche ever simply BECAUSE of THAT. But he KNOWS THAT, that is what is the worst. By now, after everything... he should cease caring one iota about that c*nt.. he even ponders things close to that... but he still does.
I was hoping this update would lay shit out and make things a lot clear, maybe ease back on the dire edge lord, cliche, try hard badassery for a bit and just make things slow down enough to actually GET EVERYTHING CLEAR. Who is who, what they are doing, and what they want. What is actually going on. I also thought that in the process, we might actually get something that demonstrates WHY this is being made as an A -VN and not just a VN. But it was just a teasing abortive oral scene... the second by my count.
This has, to me, now become an exercise in masochism. No thanks.
I initially wrote a rave review for this game, and gave it 4 out of 5 stars, simply because it was so short and yet unfinished, convinced I would be rating it 5 Stars, 100/10 when it was.
But I really cant in good conscience now. I just cant.
If this was all a little different. If we got some clarity on the story in detail, or if the characters were not all such worthless a-holes, or if we got more adult content, or the MC just a little more agency, could give as good a he got sometimes, make some important decisions.... any one of those things... I might have said nothing, and kept my positive view of, and hopes for, this game.
But there is NO WAY I am lurching about another planet, full of space zombies, dealing with a heap of c*nts, with NO IDEA what is going on... for anything less than copious amounts of Space Elf P*ssy, and Space Neko P*ssy for that matter too... and other P*ssy... I guess what I am saying... is a man will put up with a lot for some good abundant hot space girl p*ssy... but we do not EVEN GET THAT.
This game does not even need be an AVN. So far, all the adult scenes that have happened...could have been replaced with fade to black, or shadow play, or symbolism, or retrospective confirmation, or innuendo and implication..... even in our MC's slow bonding with Miriel, Flora, and Bar Maid from Earth... that romance, that emotional connection slowly growing...has not been overtly passionate, no overtly sexualized in undertone. Our MC seems not have some super powers, even if it is just an over reliance on post-nut clarity, to negotiate the world, or achieve things otherwise he could not. This game could be a simple VN, relying on NON-EXPLICIT techniques to cover the 'adult' moments... and it not make one iota of difference to the story at all.
All it seems to be so far, is an overly complex, minimal gameplay, tease fest, that functions as an exercise in masochism for the sake of hot p*ssy..... but hot p*ssy you DO NOT ACTUALL GET.
Each to their own.
But this is like, a 2 Star, 4/10 game hiding behind beautiful dressing as far as I can tell now, having played deeper, and the opportunities afforded by the new content not matching my expectations.
