I have a feeling, that you don't really need to spend time making a web build, if the game doesn't even have gameplay. Most likely, the problems you encounter during a more or less finished prototype will be completely different from the problems you're having with the current build. The game sounds like something fun, and I hope you finish it.

You are completely right, it is not really necessary with a web build!
But it is nice to have a "working" (albeit empty) build at all times. I have made a batch file, so that exporting from Godot to itch takes me two clicks.

I hope, that we will have some gameplay during this month. Currently we are bugfixing for MacOS.
