You are completely right, it is not really necessary with a web build!
But it is nice to have a "working" (albeit empty) build at all times. I have made a batch file, so that exporting from Godot to itch takes me two clicks.
I hope, that we will have some gameplay during this month. Currently we are bugfixing for MacOS.

We had planned it to be a more fleshed out point and click adventure, with two phases.
First phase would have been controlling the humans, setting up a summoning ritual, and second phase controlling the doll killing them in macabre ways.
But due to time running out for the artist on the project, we scoped down to this hide and seek kind of game.
