AI slop

(+5)(-12)

AI wasn't used very often to create the game; many mechanics had to be created manually. If you look at many mechanics, for example, linking characters to locations, adjusting the plot, and so on, the AI created only 20-25% of the code. And I only used it when I couldn't implement something myself. The game is still in development and I'm waiting for feedback on what can be improved or changed in the game. I'll always appreciate objective criticism.

why don't you make a game that's not... literally just an existing game ran through an AI program? what is the point, what sort of fulfillment do you get from taking someone else's work and just.....changing the art style to a lifeless one with 0 character, 0 edge?

since you (or, well, chatgpt lol) asked, here's what you could improve: teach yourself the needed skills to make a game, make a game of your own, use available copyright free images, music, whatever. if you have the drive to make games, not just feed off a currently popular video game that was probably made with blood, sweat and tears, you CAN do this. there are sooooo many resources you can use (for free).

whatever this is is just embarrassing, man.

You're simply obsessed with this word "AI." As I wrote above, the game wasn't entirely made by AI. I'm learning to develop games and spent about 45 days on this one. No AI could develop a game like this; the logic is hardcoded. If you'd read the story, you might have learned that some characters are interconnected. I also wrote the dialogue myself and then simply translated it into English (my native language is Russian). Thanks for the feedback.

This person, or "villainstan," is not only addressing the AI in this game; they are pointing out what you've stolen (NINAH), which was an original game. You may take inspiration, but this is just full-on copying. The whole game's plot is the same as NINAH. If you wanted to make a game for your own improvement, fine, but you had the option to make your own game with your own art and your own plot. And saying, "I wanted to see people's reactions so I could decide if I wanted to continue development," is not a good reason. Continuing development would be copying another game. I also don't understand why you couldn't see that people's reactions were going to be negative before uploading this due to the AI use and idea stealing. This is not hate but simply an explanation. Keep making games; just please don't steal game plots that probably took months to think of.
