Hey this is a really nice game! There’s a couple of light bugs that make the end game a bit hard to achieve. The buttons slowly stop working (much better than it was originally) and the end game doesn’t seem to trigger unless the amulet gets used up.

I think a text prompt to tell you why you’re walking down the street at the start of the game would help a little. (Just a simple retelling of the first part of the page overview would be enough) “You’re out Trick or Treating but you forgot to get a costume” or something. An extra sound when the homeowner likes the costume/likes/dislikes the answers would be cool.

The music fits nicely. I could see a bit of a change if/when the charges get low could add to a sense of foreboding.

I wonder if some visual hints on the house as to which homeowner likes which costumes might be a nice detail. It can be subtle and some of the houses could be missing decorations to add a bit of challenge.

The artwork is really nice.

I might like it if I could play the game entirely with the keyboard, maybe pressing 1-4 for the costumes.

Looking forward to future updates!
