The bots are getting smarter, and are now posing as itch io staff/support/update service etc. (or infecting unfortunate real accounts who clicked on those links), disguising their virus links as patreon links and so on.
Don't fall for it!
I would never post links in the comments, and links by anyone but me are practically guaranteed to be some form of malware or scam by this point.
