Noticing a few bugs from the start:
- Clicking ESC opens up the "Invoke Dark Powers" menu, but there's no way to close it.
- After restarting the game (because I couldn't close the dark powers menu) whenever I picked up the sword, it'd be stuck on the "managed to tuck it in his pocket dialogue" and you'd have no way to progress.
- UI/room selection bug mentioned in this comment's replies.
A full screen option would be nice to have (if there's one already I'm not finding it) as the room names are entirely illegible when viewing the map.
Aesthetics and music are really nice though. Going to redownload it and clear my appdata cache (if there is any) so I can try and progress. Happy Halloween!
EDIT: Finished the playthrough. Overall a very cute one-off. Loved Bronze and Flynn. I'd say I loved Mav too, but he's cringe so I must detest him on principle /joke. Please keep making these goofy games. Something you could consider for the future, if you keep making these short-form games, is seeing if you can combine them into a single file like a library of games sort-of-thing. Just a thought.
There seems to be a consistent issue with how the menus/text are handled. If you spam too hard when text is on the screen it botches how the next text gets handled. In the case of the sword it doenst load the text to move on, and the other case I found, if you click on moving to a location too soon it won't let you select it anymore, you have to select something else.
