Any thoughts about Discord for this in general? Due to my age and the order of which I dropped off of social media and immediately felt heeeaaaalthier and never looked back - but now need to poke my head in for promotion/networking - I kind of missed Discord. Haven't seen first hand the reason for its success. I would assume it's because it has multiple features in one, streaming, video conferencing, messenging, group posting, other stuff I don't know etc.
who attends these groups btw? For example in the promotion category for Splattercat, will it be mostly devs reading like on Itch or casual players?
