Tarot is mostly an introspective process, it can also help for creativity.
The current layout presented is a cross where the bottom card read what leads you to the question. Then the upper card represent the potential outcome or result if you follow the reading. Then the middle cards reads in order the : past, present and the future.
I personally learn Tarot when I was a child but today I use The Linestrider Tarot deck from Siolo Thompson, it’s very beautiful deck and the book that came with it made referencing easy.
