I played the new version and it seemed like the same issues i had last time were still there.

I get that the challenge of the game is to remember everything inside the order, but the game just trapping you in place until you die (which can take a while) just isnt very fun. Id much prefer if the customer just left and made me lose a heart if i got anything wrong.

yeah that'd probably have been a better way of doing it, wish i'd thought of that before the jam ended but oh well. 

it's unfortunate because remembering the orders was never supposed to be a big part of the game's challenge, if i were to make a full version i'd have it so you'd need to manually enter what the customer's order is on the register screen while they're ordering so you'll have a reference to remember everything but you'll still need to pay attention to what's being said.

in that case maybe a drawing screen would be a nice thing to pursue? I could imagine players using it as a notepad, quickly scribbling and erasing as they note down the orders.
