This became one of my favorite 'Metagames', especially when he said we were just hiding behind the screen watching it all. Using translation software to play may make me misunderstand the plot. I wonder why in the happy ending he chose to kill himself after only one night with MC, has he achieved his goal? Or for the next rebirth?
It depends on your perspective.
For me, in this lifetime, he has achieved his goal of making you "love" him. But as you can see, those words of love are printed in red (meaning Y/N fully recognizes he is Kieran and is only trying to deceive him with lies, or he is manipulating Y/N into saying insincere words—the more you interact with him, the greater his ability to manipulate your mind (which can be considered 'mindbreak')). This proves that Y/N has only escaped in this lifetime; that promise has yet to be fulfilled.
