I haven't done many game jams and when I've seen videos, most games look like they have a decent length of gameplay, so idk how mine fares up to others. Were you able to play through or did you get stuck when loading into the level? If so, you can pause and reset it and it should resolve the bug and play like normal! :)
I have taken part of many game jams, and I have played really many jam games, and I am use to bugs. The game was good, and the bug did not prevent me from experience the game, and bugs can always be fixed. My game also have bugs(perhaps a bit too many), and I have already made a post jam version that fix the worst them. You have made a interesting game, with a relative complex story, and when you do that there is great chance there will be some bugs.
