Great creative idea! I love the goofy visuals in notes but on the other side scary visuals in scanner. It embraces the fear of uknown by showing only silhouette. I also love the concept of shapeshifters, i think those is one of the scariest horror concepts. One of the most interesting entries I played so far!, Would be super more confortable to play if notepad opening/closing could be in some key, not mouse.

Happy you enjoyed it, and I agree it would definetly have been better if you were able to open the notepad with the spacebar or another key (kinda wish I had thought of it while making it). though I wish I was a little better at 3d modelling to make the models look a bit scarier and more complex, but I'm still happy with how it turned out.
