it feels kinda like an afk aground, but from what i interacted with im not sure i was really doing anything. I love the art style and would very much enjoy seeing this fleshed out to a full game. the concept of the two tending the fire together has a lot of really cool potential. I could really sense a spark between them.
Love the art style and the core design. There's lots going on here, impressively complex already!
The images are a little small but go well together and the music gives a zen atmosphere. Nice work!
Great animations, it reminds me of Adventure Island!
this is so well done man peak art and animation of the small people hahaha doing their work good job making it
I used AI in some parts of the projet : Claude Code helped me for the general structure while Codex performed better for the little scripts.
Didn't have time to test everything but the main things are here. More details about the game and how it works, on the itchio page.
Here I'm just gonna say a few words of what I have in mind next with my game idea :
- I got inspired by Viva Pinata, for those who remember that game. I want to improve the coming of animals, the moment they choose to stay, or to leave. Right now, it's more invisible and lack of visual feedback (sound also).
- The chief of the village could have more impact on the security village. And animals that enter the village would have more impact too on the village.
- bring other humans with more functionnalities, but keeping the minimalist actions
- bring age on humans, and force a "recycle" of humans by children. Children would spawn after a though winter when humans spend more time in their houses...
- for AFK mechanics, other than fire / plants / weather / number of animals changing, could be interesting to add things that could change the environment and force the player to make adjustments when he/she comes back.
