I got the "Witching Hour" ending upon full completion my first time! I did have to rely on a walkthrough a few times because some of the puzzles and riddles were just too hard for me, but overall it was an alright experience. Unfortunately, I didn't quite understand the story, so I had to rely on the fan wiki for that (I'm still kinda lost though haha).

I'm playing through New Game+ now, hoping to unlock the rest of the CG images I'm missing, plus the music tracks. This game is beautifully drawn, not too shabby for a horror RPG!

How is this a RPG?

its an rpg HORROR!!!

it MOVES like an rpg.

Then you should check the definition of a Role Playing Game because you obviously don't know it.

what is an rpg anymore actually..?

(1 edit)

It at the very least involves open-world, towns, NPCs, quests, dungeons, battles, XP and level up.

RPG Maker horror games involve none of these because they are not actually RPGs, it is merely the name of the software used to make them: RPG Maker, which was originally designed to make RPGs but has been used to make other kinds of games unrelated to RPGs such as horror games such as Ib, The Witch's House, Misao, Mad Father, the Strange Men's series, Aria's Story, Pocket Mirror, et caetera.
