This horror games style fits perfectly with the Tim Burton description you were going for and I liked it a lot.
The art itself looks really good and the hand drawn parts work perfectly to set the scene to create a great horror atmosphere.
As for game-play I really enjoyed the difficulty ramp up and the different crystal upgrades you could buy with fragments to help you on your adventure into more difficult levels.
Great game I think you could work on this more and make it a paid experience.
