Hey — I liked your game Skele‑Tom's Candy Caper a lot. The perspective-shifts mid-level are bold and fresh — switching from 2D platforming into first-person was a cool surprise. A few notes I found:
-
The first-person segments felt much harder than the 2D ones — sometimes the jump timing and camera felt less forgiving, which could frustrate players.
-
The CRT/shader effect is stylish but occasionally distracts from reading the action — maybe tone it down or add an option to disable it.
-
The UI/mouse support seems a bit rough (as noted in comments) — adding a clear “keyboard/gamepad recommended” note or improving the mouse experience could help.
If you’ve got a moment, I’d really appreciate it if you checked out my game and dropped a rating: https://itch.io/jam/gamedevtv-halloween-jam-2025/rate/3971977
— thanks so much and good luck in the jam! 🎃
