I like this. Each choice feels very unclear on what it means in the present or for the future. You really have to understand what is being told to you, or be very creative in what each word is trying to say.
Do I want to attack now while we are still in recovery? This may stall a future attack from the enemy.
Or do I want to stay peaceful to not risk retaliation? This may stall enough time for us to recover.
