Well, according to devs pov - the game is meant to be hard from the start and challenging, so any progress you make is more rewarding.

It's not supposed to be another shallow sex sim, rather a full fledged game with various engaging minigames and other mechanics, so you learn from your mistakes how to overcome certain obstacles.

Imo, what you described, is pure skill issue and shattered expectations where you wanted a simple sex game and got some kind of dark souls wannabe adult game.

I'm sure you'll get it eventually.

yeah , i know , but i think there is some interresting stuff to do just with the filming screen and what you do with the camera ! and the game is advertised like that (it's litteraly called REC) and i don't wanna play a sort of failed jrpg in order to enjoy the rec moment !

and seriously ...hard from the beggining to make the progress more rewarding ... we're not on arcade , let's make the game fun to progress !

and that don't excuse the boring stats

if they wanted to make an rpg , no problem ! just don't implement at the last minute a porn part with a camera and advertise it as a porn game!

Not tying to be rude but

No one, is forcing you to play

This game is amazing, the minigames, the events, the development, the interactions, the characters, the grind, it's all an amazing process

Everyone has different taste, no need to force someone's passion into your own liking

The dev wants a game that he himself would enjoy playing, something to remember, not something to play for a quick nut, then delete
