it may have helped you, but as you get better, you will realize that gorka doesnt teach optimizations. so everything that gorka teaches, will hurt your games performance. i started with gorkas tutorials, and i thought that his way is the only way, but years later, i now work in a team. and i spoke with a lot of devs that also reviewed his content, and said the same exact thing <3
