I think notes are a perfectly fine way to give structure to your thoughts, have had many a good idea or inspiration that went to waste because I didn't have a pad of paper nearby to record it. The main problem as you stated is making sure they're both legible and understandable after the thought dump is done, have plenty of notes from back in high school that are more or less useless to me now since my younger self was arrogant enough to think I'd be able to perfectly remember prior material even if I didn't have it written down. Surprise, I don't.
Can't wait to see the updated events and the first real bit of romance with little Violet, guess it's time to finally start another new character. Also loving the new intro portraits for Gwen and Mitsuki, Shady 2 never misses on capturing the essence of the characters perfectly.
