Really solid entry overall. The game shows a lot of potential, and with some polishing, it has room for improvement in gameplay.

The art is definitely the strongest point, looking great and staying consistent throughout. The overall concept is interesting, and each level idea feels distinct.

I understand that game jams have strict time limits, but I just want to point out a few areas (not limited to these) that could be improved for future updates:

  • The gameplay can feel clunky when moving and jumping, or moving and attacking at the same time. When holding the attack button, the attack sound seems to spam too quickly, which makes the audio feel a bit messy. Some animations and sound effects are slightly out of sync in certain scenarios. Adding a short delay or syncing it to the animation could make it cleaner.
  • The lack of knockback or clear damage feedback can cause the player and enemies to get stuck together after a hit, breaking the flow of combat. Interactable objects also do not show any indication when collided with, and it takes a moment to realize that you have to manually click on them. This can be confusing, even on mobile, since there is no visual cue to show that the object is interactable. Would suggest adding light knockback, clearer hit effects, and small prompts for interactable objects would make the combat and flow feel much smoother.

There is definitely room for improvement, but this is a strong start with a lot of potential once polished.

Thank you so much! I really appreciate your feedback.
