I tried to close all windows in the house, then the game shouted at me and I got a game over screen. Not sure exactly what happened there, I have a suspicion that I was not fast enough and didn't close one or several of the windos, but that's just my speculation. Although screamer games are just not my cup of tea, I think this game would have benefited from a more granular feedback system that would notify player of the current state of the game and how effective their actions are. For example, a music that would become more and more tense as the moment when the intruder approaches. Or a counter of how many windows you have to close.
