On a side note... I might kinda lost my save. In regular fashion, like everyone does when losing their save, they would say what they lost. I lost all my tool which were made of steel, my mythril pick, all building and quest progress. I don't know if it's something on your end or mine, but an awful lot of people seem to have been losing saves. Its just... Odd...

So your save just disappeared? As in you went to load it and it just wasn’t listed anymore?

As an aside, in light of this stuff happening, I talked to the devs that make the engine. As they promptly decided it wasn’t something they wanted to look into, suppose I can’t blame them since I can’t replicate it, I made a new save engine. Before I was using something built into Construct, but this new save system is custom made instead. It feels a lot more straightforward to me, but I guess we will see. It should key off the old system though so you shouldn’t have to start over when it’s implemented.

I am sorry you lost your save. I don’t know exactly how it’s happening. I’ve tried to replicate it over and over again with no success. There is a chance it has to do with how the save function works but it seemed far more likely to me that there is an actual bug with the engine itself. Like I said though I can’t replicate it so the devs won’t look at it. Hence the new system.

I'm not sure if it helps, but when I exited the game the time I lost my save, It was the only time I used the X, not the exit game function in settings

Out of curiosity did you click the X as soon as the “Save Game” text went green?

No, I pressed it when I woke up.

Hmm, strange. It’s hard to pin down a reason for this happening. Personally, I think it’s a bug with the engine itself or a limitation of that specific built in behavior. However, the devs of the engine won’t pay attention since I can’t replicate it consistently.

Like I said though I remade the save engine earlier this week. The way saves are stored is fundamentally different so I’m hoping that will keep things like this from happening anymore.
