That was a REALLY, REALLY good horror entry. Like might've been one of the only games to scare me so far in this jam. Praise first off, the monster design is sick. It's both unnerving, weird, and unnatural. The footsets continued to scare the shit out of me and made me afraid to ever take my eyes off of it for a moment. Also, another thing I need to say thank you for, since I've seen so many developers mess this up. THANK YOU for letting me scoot past / touch the monster without it instantly killing me when I'm looking at it. I was worried that I would've tried to squeeze past the monster and I would've been punished despite my keeping eye contact with it. I have slight spoiler praise as well, so if someone hasn't played the game, stop reading here. But when that second monster kicked down that door, all I could do was go "oh shit..." while getting scared at the sudden appearance of a new guy. For being your first jam entry as well, this is a really good start. My only nitpick would be that I literally couldn't read the papers lying around since I was too scared to take my eyes off the monster. Either way, I look forward to whatever you do next. Great jam entry and Great Game!

Thank you so much for playing, I'm really happy to hear you liked it! I'm also glad the encounters with the monster went well for you, as I know he can be a little overzealous to get you sometimes and will disobey the visibility conditions if you are really close to him.

Don't worry about the papers too much unless you're into the lore. The 3 available papers were positioned so that it would be possible to read them before any encounters or in a way where you can still read them during the encounters, but I do plan on getting much better spots for them as the game grows so you won't have to worry!

Overall thanks a ton for checking the game out and leaving a rating!
